Kehi beach is a popular summer destination that's 1 minute by car and 10 minutes by foot. This is a wide shallow beach that is great to take children to. After returning in high spirits and slightly sun kissed, feel free to use the showers and washing machines, no charge for guests.
CuisineWe proudly offer fresh seafood caught and purchased the same day from Tsuiyama Harbor, just across the river.
Tsuiyama Crab, famous as a luxury brand crab, makes its appearance in winter.

Then, in winter enjoy the taste of Tajima with Matsuba Crab. You can watch as fresh catches of famous brand crab "Tsuiyama Crab" are unloaded right in front of you at Tsuiyama Harbor. This crab tastes great raw, grilled, boiled and any other way you can think of! We have plenty of crab cuisine plans available.
Both, breakfast and dinner are served in our dining room. All of our rooms are private so that you may enjoy your meals in comfort. There are different types of seating such as chairs, sunken floor seating, and tatami floor seating. We may not always be able to accommodate your request, but we will do our best to accommodate your family structure and needs.

Maruyamaso's most popular room! This spacious two room bungalow style room features a large terrace with an open-air bath as well as a Japanese cypress wood bath. Located away from the other rooms, recommended space for families to relax, groups to have fun, or a girls' getaway.

There are also two TVs, 2 wash basins, and a bidet toilet.

In the back of our main building is a special deck where you can have fun fishing with the kids.
*The rods provided by Maruyamaso are simple single poles for beginners and kids, please be aware that we do not have poles with reels.
Cycling
How about a relaxing bike ride along the picturesque Maruyama River or down to the beach? Bicycles can be rented for free, but there are only two so they are available on a first come first serve basis.

The genbudo caves are a designated national natural treasure. Here you can see the strange beauty of hexagonal basalt columnar joints that were created 1.6 million years ago from cooled lava.
